Friday March 4, 2016: 11th Annual Mending Hearts, Creating Dreams – Lynette will be speaking at an awesome event in Toronto, Ontario at Le Parc Banquet Hall.

A Gala Event for The Yellow Brick House, a home for battered women that she stayed in with her family when she left an abusive husband in the 1980s.  She’ll be speaking on a panel about the value of The Yellow Brick House, the power of understanding the cycle of abuse with the intention of making change, and how it’s changed her life and the lives of the many people she helps around the world today!

December, December 11, 2015: Screening HUSH, A documentary film – Lynette was in the film and will be part of the Q&A panel with Cast & Director in North Hollywood, CA. 

H.U.S.H is a documentary  film by Angela Marie Hutchinson exploring sex abuse in Hollywood. The screening of the film begins at 7:00 PM, and at 8: 15 PM Lynette Louise, along with other cast members and the director, will be answering questions in a Q & A panel. The event promises to be enlightening and revealing. Be sure to RSVP via text to 310.279.7683. JUMP START THE CONVERSATION ABOUT CAMPUS SEXUAL ASSAULT is being held at The University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA 90089 (213) 740-2311.  RM: VKC 101 – 2PM – 5PM. Several members of RAINN (Rape Abuse Incest National Network) will join Lynette Louise on a panel of survivors to share important truths for survivors of sexual assault. Lynette will also offer tips for those wanting to know how to stay safe on campus, and beyond. Lunch will be served.

Potts, and Vanessa Williams will participate in a staged reading of Mothers and Others on
Autism, at Barnsdall Gallery Theatre on May 3. Alison Vail Fuller will direct, with
choreography by Frankie Anne.This multimedia musical drama tells the true stories of families affected by autism. The evening will begin at 6pm with a reception and silent auction, will continue with a special appearance by Adam Walden from Autism the Musical, followed by the performance of Mothers & Others on Autism at 8pm. Music used in the reading includes songs by Bob Dylan, Natalie Merchant, Lila Downs, Deedee O’Malley and more.Disabled adults and parents of autistic children who brought a photo of their child were admitted at the door free of charge during National Autism Awareness Month in April
